Parliament approves 2021 State Budget

Luanda – Angolan National Assembly approved on Monday the General State Budget (OGE) 2021 and the Resolution on Parliament's Recommendations on the matter.

The General Budget Bill 2021 was approved during the 3rd Extraordinary Plenary Meeting of the Angolan Parliament, with 141 votes in favor, 48 against and two abstentions.

The General Budget 2021, which foresees expenses and revenues of 14.7 billion Kwanzas, is based on the price of a barrel of oil of 39 USD.

Despite the financial limitations, the programmatic document brings an increase of 9.9 percent in relation to the revised Budget in execution.

The sectors of social, with 39.5 percent, and that of economy (15.5 %), received the larger chunk of this budget.
