Luanda – The National Assembly (Angolan parliament) is resuming its monthly debates on 21 January 2021, by tackling the topic “fight against impunity as key factor for good governance”.

The debates were cancelled in the end of the previous legislature, which means next January’s discussion will represent the resumption of the monthly parliamentary debate.

The topic, which was proposed by the ruling party’s parliamentary bench, was approved last Thursday at a parliamentary whips gathering.

According to the regulation of the National Assembly, periodically there has to be a debate, in plenary session, focusing on an issue of public or general interest.
