Luanda - Attorney General´s Office (PGR) in eastern Moxico province said his institution referred four criminal cases for embezzlement and other financial and economic-related cases last March.
All the cases involve public managers.
The announcement was made Tuesday by the Attorney General’s Office, José Buanga, who was speaking on sidelines of a lecture on maintenance claim, the failure to comply with court order and the criminal liability.
ANGOP learnt that three former municipal administrators and one provincial director were indicted by PGR, but the source would not reveal the number of the cases.
The crimes feature embezzlement, criminal association, undue receipt of benefits and economic participation in business.
On the other hand, the Public Prosecutor’s Office said PGR recorded 545 criminal cases over the last three months, 25 more comparing to those reported in the previous period.
