Luanda - Public policies to increase diversification of production and national economy dominated the audience granted Monday by the President of the Republic, João Lourenço, to the secretary-general of the Council of Christian Churches of Angola (CICA).
Speaking to the press, Reverend Deolinda Dorcas Teca said she had conveyed the concerns of the peasant community interested in contributing to leverage agriculture and productive diversity.
She said that she had requested more attention to the conditions of flow of production to consumption centres.
The religious leader considered it important to acquire and install means of preserving production, such as vegetables, to avoid losses resulting from deterioration.
For Deolinda Dorcas Teka, "the Government is making a great effort in the field of agriculture" but it will be inglorious without the creation of the conditions of flow and conservation of products.
She believes that once such conditions are created, the country would be in conditions to export part of its internal production.
The reverend wants the cooperation between the church and the government to be extended also to the areas of tourism and environment.
She spoke of the need to strengthen exchange in the field of education to ensure the formation of Angolan men with morals and ethics.
