President João Lourenço invites Guinean counterpart to visit Angola

Conakry – Angolan President João Lourenço invited on Friday his counterpart of Guinea Conakry, Alpha Condé, to visit Angola on a date to be arranged in due time.

According to the Angolan minister of Foreign Affairs, Téte António – who read the joint final communiqué of the meeting between the ministerial delegations of both countries – the Guinean President has already acquiesced to such invitation.  

 

The communiqué emphasises that the two delegations reaffirm the importance of the relations of friendship, fraternity and co-operation that exist between both countries, further stressing the willingness to keep strengthening such ties.

 

The governments of Angola and Guinea Conakry also agreed to holding the Second Session of the Joint Commission for Cooperation in Conakry.

 

The two ministerial delegations held such meeting in the ambit of João Lourenço’s two-day state visit to Guinea Conakry, at the invitation of the Guinean President, Alpha Condé.

According to the Angolan minister of Foreign Affairs, Téte António – who read the joint final communiqué of the meeting between the ministerial delegations of both countries – the Guinean President has already acquiesced to such invitation.
