Angola president sends messages to African counterparts

Luanda - Angolan Head of State João Lourenço Thursday sent messages to five African counterparts, as part of the strengthening of multilateral cooperation.

According to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Joao Lourenço, who is also chairperson of the International Conference on the Great Lakes Region (ICGLR), sent messages to the presidents of Republics of Congo Denis Sassou Nguesso, Central African Republic (CAR) Faustin-Archange Touadéra, and Rwanda Paul Kagame.

Messages are also expected to reach the presidents of Chad Idriss Déby Itno and Sudan Abdel Fattah Abdelrahman Burhan.

Bearer of the messages is Angolan top diplomat , Téte António, who left the country Thursday bound for Brazzaville (Republic of the Congo), Bangui (Central African Republic), Kigali (Rwanda), NDjamena (Chad) and Khartoum (Sudan).
