President appoints new State secretary for public administration

Luanda - The President of the Republic, João Lourenço, Monday appointed Vânio António Gaspar Americano to the post of Secretary of State of Public Administration, replacing António Francisco Afonso.

In a press release, the Civil House said that President Lourenço had also dismissed the deputy provincial governors of Benguela for Technical Services and Infrastructures, Leopoldo Francisco Jeremias Muhongo and of Huambo for the Political, Social and Economic Sector, José Cornélio.

On the other hand, João Lourenço appointed Adilson Dellany Martins Gonçalves, as deputy governor of Benguela for Technical Services and Infrastructure and Francisco Jamba Kata, as deputy governor of Huambo for the Political, Social and Economic Sector.

The Civil House note also made public that, for convenience of service, the secretary general of the President of the Republic dismissed Justino Gabriel Guedes Canguia, from his position as Administrative and Financial director of the General Secretariat of the President of the Republic.
