Luanda - The President of the Republic, João Lourenço, visited on Tuesday the Cajueiros General Hospital, in the municipality of Cazenga, in Luanda, to check the ongoing state of the health institution which is currently receiving restoration works.
On a guided tour of the hospital, the Head of State was informed about the operation of various services, with emphasis on the emergency room, the inpatient areas, maternity, pediatrics, clinical analysis labs and medicine storage.
João Lourenço will carry out a field trip on Tuesday morning that will also take him to visit the works of the future Institute of Legal Medicine.
According to the municipal director of Health, Caetano José Miguel, the surgery and intensive care room are currently undergoing restoration work aimed at improving working conditions, as well as expanding the structures. VIC/CF/DOJ
