Saurimo - The president of the opposition Social Renewal Party (PRS), Benedito Daniel, reaffirmed Saturday that his party will continue to promote peace, democracy and national unity.
Speaking at the launch of the party’s pre-election campaign in the eastern Lunda Sul Province, the politician said if the party wins the general elections in August, it will consolidate social harmony and promote participatory and inclusive governance.
Despite the economic and financial crisis that has been affecting the country since 2014, Benedito Daniel said his party is committed to contributing to policies that solve social problems of the population and the need to continue supporting youth entrepreneurship to promote self-employment.
The PRS leader also said he considers it fundamental the improvement of the roads to aid the development of the communities and facilitate the flow of agricultural production to commercial centres.
Benedito Daniel then stressed that it is urgent that all citizens, regardless of each one’s party affiliation, become inspectors of the projects that the Executive is developing, to ensure the desired quality.
