Ondjiva - Mauritanian refugees in the province of Cunene expressed Monday, in Ondjiva, their satisfaction for the respect and treatment they receive from the Angolan authorities.
This satisfaction was expressed by the coordinator of the Mauritanian community in Cunene, Mohamed Lami, on the occasion of the celebrations of June 20, World Refugee Day.
He acknowledged that in Angola, especially in Cunene, they found a healthy environment and the best business opportunity.
Mohamed Lami said that in order to feel good in the province and for the relations between the inhabitants of the region to be healthy, many have had to form families and live like Angolans.
In turn, the director of the Migration and Foreigners Service (PME) in Cunene, Adão Camilo, said that the province controls expatriates, including 11 refugees and 112 asylum seekers.
