Huambo - The remains of the former deputy defence minister for material resources, general in the reform Demósthenes Amós Chilingutila, were buried today, Tuesday, in the cemetery of São Pedro, on the outskirts of the city of Huambo.
With a feeling of pain, grief and commotion, relatives, friends and colleagues accompanied the deceased, who died of illness last Sunday (24).
Chilingutila, 73 years old, stood out in the process of formation of the Angolan Armed Forces (FAA), held the post of deputy minister of Defence for Material Resources and Infrastructure of the Government of Unity and National Reconciliation and was a member of the National Assembly (2008-2017).
Demóstenes Amós Chilingutila was born on 30 November 1947 in Bié province.
