Luanda - President of the Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC) Félix Tshisekedi arrived in Luanda Tuesday to pay a working visit to Angola.
At the 4 de Fevereiro International Airport, the DRC Head of State was received by Minister of Foreign Affairs, Téte António, among other individuals.
During his stay, Félix Tshisekedi will meet with his Angolan counterpart João Lourenço.
In April, the Angolan President, João Lourenço, was informed of the resurgence of the M23 armed group in the DRC, worsening the climate of insecurity in the eastern region of this country.
At the time, the information was released to the press by the deputy prime minister and minister of Foreign Affairs of the DRC, Christophe Apala Ten Apala, at the end of an audience granted to him by the Angolan statesman.
Last week, the DRC accused its neighbour Rwanda of supporting the M23 rebel group, which has resumed attacks in its eastern region.
