Malanje - The Provincial Secretary for training, personnel and staff of UNITA (opposition party), Fernando Amândio, defended today, Sunday, the spirit of courage, forgiveness, dialogue, union and reconciliation within the youth arm of the party (JURA), in the face of political challenges in the country.
Fernando Armândio made this appeal on the sidelines of the II ordinary meeting of the Provincial Committee of the United Revolutionary Youth of Angola (JURA), having highlighted the need to reign in the organization, coherence so that the militants are increasingly united and strong, in favor of the growth of UNITA and the Angolan democratic process.
He added that young people affiliated to JURA are also called to reflect on the desires and interests of all Angolan youth, with a view to contributing to achieving them.
In turn, JURA's provincial secretary, Manuel Samuhongo Luciano guaranteed the continuous work to raise awareness of more activists, especially women, to join the ranks of the organization.
On the other hand, the politician reiterated that the institutionalization of local authorities in Angola constitutes an opportunity for citizens to participate more actively in the management of community issues.
The meeting aimed, among other aspects, to analyze the life of JURA, the level of execution of its programs and the socioeconomic situation of the country and the province in particular and was attended by activists from various parts of the province. RM/NC/PBC/CF/DOJ
