Huambo - The Vice President of the Republic, Bornito de Sousa, arrived this Thursday morning in Huambo province, for a 72-hour working visit, as part of his monitoring of Local Governance actions.
According to the work schedule, Bornito de Sousa will meet, in private, with the provincial governor, Lotti Nolika, visit the Boys' Home, in the centre of the city of Huambo, and the poultry farm of the Chiyanga Agricultural Experimental Station, "Osandji Yo Vimbo", or "Chicken of Kimbo", in the national language, Umbundu.
For Friday and Saturday, the Vice President will assess the implementation of social and economic projects in the municipalities of Mungo and Chicala-Cholohanga, besides the execution of policies to combat regional asymmetries.
In these municipalities, the Vice President's agenda includes, among other activities, meetings with local authorities and community representatives.
In Mungo municipality, 130 kilometres north of the city of Huambo, he is due to visit the Kaniñil rock paintings and the Mungo farm.
In Chicala-Cholohanga, 42 kilometres east of the provincial capital, visits are planned to Audácia (poultry), Jiang Agricultura and Tchela Macai farms.
