Covid-19: Angola reports 105 new positive cases

Luanda - The health authorities announced, on Sunday, the registration of 105 new cases of Covid-19, 75 recovered patients and 6 deaths.

Among the new cases, 71 were registered in Luanda, 16 in Huambo, 13 in Cabinda, 2 in Zaire and one each for Benguela, Moxico and Lunda Norte.

With ages ranging from 7 months to 73 years old, the list includes 72 men and 33 women.

Of those recovered, according to the daily report, 69 reside in Luanda and six in Huambo.

Of the reported deaths (four men and two women), aged between 7 and 82 years, two are from Huambo, the same number from Luanda and one each from Huila and Cabinda. 

The laboratories processed 2,183 samples.

The general picture shows 36,705 positive cases, with 831 deaths, 30,282 recovered and 5,592 active. Of the active ones, 11 are critical, 36 severe, 95 moderate, 22 mild and 5,428 asymptomatic.
