Luanda – Angolan health authorities have announced 496 recoveries, 440 new cases and 11 fatalities in the latest 24 hours.
Of the recoveries, 386 occurred in Luanda, 32 in Uíge, 19 in Cuando Cubango, 16 in Bié, 15 in Huambo, 10 in Huíla, 8 in Namibe, 7 in Benguela and 3 Moxico.
In its Daily Bulletin, the health sector also announced the emergence of the new cases in ten provinces.
They are Luanda with 333, Huambo 48, Huíla 27, Benguela 14, Cabinda 9, Malanje 4, Bié 2, Cuando Cubango 2, Cuanza Sul 1 and Moxico 1.
The new patients, aged 1 - 94 years old, include 236 men and 204 women.
As for the deaths, Benguela province is leading the list with 4, followed by Cuando Cubango and Luanda with 2, while Bié, Malanje and Huíla have one each.
Angola’s global tally stands at 54,280 positive cases, 1,471 deaths, 47,175 recoveries and 5,634 active patients.
