Covid-19: Angola registers 178 new infections, 3 deaths and 14 recoveries

Luanda – The Angolan health authorities reported, this Sunday, the diagnosis of 178 new infections, 3 deaths and the recovery of 14 patients in the last 24 hours.

According to data released, 165 were registered in Luanda, 5 in Cuanza Norte, 4 in Zaire, 3 in Huambo and 1 in Bengo.

 

With ages ranging from 2 to 82 years, 91 are male and 87 are female.

 

The deaths, involving Angolan citizens, were registered 2 in Luanda and one in Huambo.

 

Among those recovered, 13 reside in Luanda and 1 in Bengo.

 

The labs processed 1,241 samples.

 

Regarding the active cases, 210 patients are hospitalized in the treatment centers, while 165 people are in institutional quarantine.

 

According to the data, under epidemiological surveillance there are 2,556 positive cases.

 

The overall picture shows 35,772 positive cases, with 797 deaths, 28,880 recoveries and 6,095 active.

 

Of the active ones, 9 are in critical conditions, 27 serious, 157 moderate, 16 levels and 5,886 asymptomatic.
