Luanda- Angola reported, this Wednesday, the registration of 53 new cases and 38 recovered patients, in the last 24 hours.
According to the daily bulletin, among the new cases, 47 were diagnosed in Luanda, 5 in Cabinda and 1 in Malanje.
Aged between 3 and 93, the list is made up of 28 male and 25 female patients.
In the last 24 hours, the laboratories processed 2,731 samples by RT-PCR, with a daily positivity rate of 1.9 percent.
The recovered patients reside in Luanda province.
Angola has 64,815 confirmed cases, of which 1,723 have died, 61,130 have recovered and 1,962 are active. Of those active, 4 are critical, 6 serious, 11 moderate, 23 light and 1,918 asymptomatic.
At treatment centres, 44 patients are hospitalised, while 83 citizens are serving institutional quarantine and 96 contacts of positive cases are under medical surveillance.
