Luanda - At least two hundred and eleven new cases, seven deaths and 196 recovered patients is the balance of the last 24 hours, announced this Wednesday by health authorities.
According to the daily report, Luanda province has diagnosed 112 new cases, Huíla 25, Benguela 24, Huambo 10, Namibe 8, Moxico 6, Bié 5, Zaire 5, Lunda Norte 4, Lunda Sul 4, Cunene 3, Cabinda 2, Cuanza Sul 2 and Uíge 1.
The list includes 133 male and 78 female patients, whose ages range from 3 to 83.
The deaths were registered in the provinces of Huíla, with 2, Namibe 2, Benguela 1, Moxico 1 and Zaire 1, respectively.
Among those recovered, 96 reside in Lunda Norte, 40 in Huila, 18 in Lunda Sul, 11 in Huambo, 8 in Bié, 8 in Luanda, 6 in Cunene and 1 in Cabinda.
The laboratories processed 4,930 samples.
In the treatment centres, 113 patients are hospitalised, while 229 people are in institutional quarantine.
The authorities monitor 694 contacts of positive cases.
The overall picture shows 45,175 positive cases, with 1,125 deaths, 41,977 recovered and 2,073 active. Of the active ones, 12 are critical, 23 severe, 48 moderate, 30 mild and 1,960 asymptomatic.
