Luanda - At least 30.244 people infected by Covid-19 in Angola were recovered throughout November.
The number of recovered cases this month represents an increase of 1,077 people free from Covid-19, compared to October, when 2,167 patients were cured.
October closed with a total of 2,583 recovered, in 31 days.
According to the national epidemiological bulletin, the number of recovered people in Angola exceeds that of active people, with 7,851 patients cured by Covid-19, against 6,940 patients still in treatment centres and at home.
In the period under review (November) there were 4,334 new positive cases, representing a drop of 1,252 infected, as compared to October, when there were 5,586 patients.
Since the first two positive cases were confirmed in Angola, on 21 March, October was the month that registered the highest number of infections, with a total of 5,833 patients, which represented around 52 percent of all cases in that period.
In terms of the number of deaths, 64 people died of Covid-19 in November, representing a reduction of 37 deaths, compared to the month of October, which registered 101 deaths.
