Covid-19: Angola reports 138 new cases, four deaths

Luanda - Angola’s health authorities found 138 fresh Covid-19 cases, with four fatalities and 193 recoveries in the last 24 hours.

The new cases were reported in 13 provinces.

 

They are Luanda (37), Moxico (24), Cunene (4), Huíla (19), Lunda Sul (10), Uíge (7), Namibe (5), Benguela (4), Cabinda (4), Zaire (4), Bié (1), Malanje (1) and Lunda Norte (1), with ages ranging from five months to 90 years.

 

While the deaths were reported in the provinces of Cunene, Moxico, Malanje and Huíla, with one each.

 

As for the recoveries, the health authorities announced 66 in Lunda Norte, 37 in Cunene, 28 in Moxico, 24 in Luanda, 15 in Huíla, 8 in Zaire, 7 in Benguela, 6 in Namibe, 1 in Uíge and 1 in South Kwanza.

 

The country’s global tally stands at 43,158 infections, 1,026 deaths, 39,582 recoveries and 2,550 active patients.
