COVID-19: Angola reports 198 infections, 61recoveries

Luanda – Angolan health authorities announced Thursday 198 new cases, 3 deaths and 61 recovered patients.

According to the daily report, 55 cases were diagnosed in Cunene, 48 in Lunda Norte, 29 in Luanda, 14 in Moxico, 13 in Huambo, 9 in Cuanza Sul, 9 in Namibe, 7 in Zaire, 5 in Lunda Sul, 4 in Benguela , 3 in Cabinda and 2 in Bié, with the ages ranging from 1 month to 81 years.

Deaths were registered in the provinces of Lunda Norte, Namibe and Luanda.

Of the recoveries, 26 reside in Cunene, 12 in Benguela, 8 in Luanda, 7 in Lunda Sul, 6 in Namibe and 2 in Huíla.

Angola’s global tally stands at 42,486 positive cases, 1,003 deaths, 36,025 recoveries and 5,458 active patients
