Luanda – Angolan health authorities announced Tuesday a total of 524 fresh cases, three fatalities and 359 recoveries in the last 24 hours.
The infections were recorded in the eleven provinces, with the country’s capital, Luanda, leading the list of the new cases with 372, followed by Huambo with 52.
Also, as many as 38 cases were registered in Cuanza Norte, 12 in Cuando Cubango, 11 in Cabinda, 11 in Cuanza Sul, 11 in Uíge, 11 in Zaire, 3 in Namibe, 1 in Benguela and 1 in Bié.
The news cases involve 287 men and 237 women patients, aged 2- 97 years old.
Still, Luanda was the only province that reported the fatalities in the last 24 hours.
So far, Angola’s global tally stands at 59,895 infections,1,587 deaths, 48,618 recoveries and 9,690 active patients.
