Luanda - The health authorities announced this Sunday the registration of 70 new cases, 5 deaths and 43 recovered patients, in the last 24 hours.
According to the daily health report, 17 were diagnosed in Cunene, 16 in Luanda, 10 in Namibe, 9 in Moxico, 6 in Zaire, 4 in Huila, 4 in Lunda Sul, 2 in Benguela, 2 in Bié and 1 in Malanje.
Among the new patients, whose ages range from 6 months to 96 years, are 47 men and 43 women.
The deaths were registered in the provinces of Cunene, with 2, Huila, Lunda Sul and Moxico, with 1 each, respectively.
Those recovered, according to the document, reside in the provinces of Cunene, with 20, Moxíco, with 20, and Huíla, with 3.
The laboratories processed, in the last 24 hours, 962 samples.
There are 217 people under institutional quarantine centres, while 219 patients are being treated in health units.
There are 806 contacts of positive cases under epidemiological surveillance.
The country currently has 43,662 positive cases, with 1,049 deaths, 40,122 recovered patients and 2,491 active cases. Of the active ones, 13 are critical, 16 severe, 96 moderate, 8 mild and 2,362 asymptomatic.
