Luanda - The health authorities announced on Sunday the recording of 178 new cases and two deaths in the last 24 hours.
According to the daily clinical bulletin, 173 were diagnosed in Luanda, 3 in Huíla and 2 in Bengo.
Among the new patients, whose ages range from 9 months to 84 years, are 95 women and 83 women.
The deaths, involving Angolan citizens, were registered in Luanda province.
The general picture shows 26,993 positive cases, with 602 deaths, 23,913 recovered and 2,3478 active.
Of the active cases, 9 are critical, 18 serious, 99 moderate, 82 light and 2,270 asymptomatic.
Laboratories have processed 1,236 samples in the last 24 hours.
Under institutional quarantine are 125 citizens, while 1,524 are under epidemiological surveillance and 208 are hospitalised in the country-wide treatment centres.
