Luanda – the Angolan health authorities announced, this Tuesday, the recovery of 280 patients, 75 new infections and 5 deaths.
According to the daily clinical note, 231 recovered are resident in Luanda, 27 in Huambo, 14 in Huíla, 2 in Benguela, Cuanza Sul, Cuanza Norte, and single cases in Bengo and Uíge, respectively.
Among the new infections, reads the note, 38 were diagnosed in Luanda, 9 in Luanda Norte, 6 in Benguela, 5 in Cunene and Huíla, 3 in Huambo, 2 in Cuando Cubango, Malanje and Zaire, and 1 in Cuanza Sul, Lunda Sul and Uíge.
With ages ranging from 7months to 80 years old, the list included 43 male and 32 female patients.
The deaths include 3 citizens from the province of Huambo, 1 from Luanda and Huíla, respectively.
The labs processed 2 595 samples.
There are 185 people at the institutional quarantine facilities and 1 990 under epidemiological surveillance.
Angola sums a total of 39 375 positive cases, 920 deaths, 34 019 recoveries and current 4 436 active patients. On the current diseased there are 13 in critical conditions, 21 severe, 58 moderates, 2 mild and 4 342 asymptomatic.
