Luanda – The Angolan Health authorities reported, this Wednesday, 349 new infections, 8 deaths and the recovery of 150 patients.
According to the daily bulletin, 275 were diagnosed in Luanda, 18 in Huambo, 17 in Cabinda, 10 in Cuanza Sul, 9 in Malanje, 7 in Uíge, 4 in Huíla, 3 in Cunene, 2 in Bengo and Zaire, 1 in Cuando Cubango and 1 Namibe Province, respectively.
With ages ranging from 2 months to 93 years, the list includes 193 male patients and 156 females.
The deaths were registered in Luanda (5), Malanje (2) and Cabinda (1).
Regarding the recovered patients, 76 are resident in Luanda, 28 in Bié, 17 in Huambo and Malanje, 9 in Cabinda and 3 in Cuando Cubango.
In the last 24 hours, 2 151 samples were processed by RT-PCR, with a positivity rate of 9.9%.
The country sums a total 62,143 confirmed cases, of which 1,650 deaths, 50,191 recovered and 10,302 active.
Of the current diseased, 16 are in critical condition, 42 severe, 118 moderate, 60 mild and 10,066 asymptomatic.
