Covid-19: Angola reports 373 recoveries, 271 new infections

Luanda - Angola registered, in the last 24 hours, the recovery of 373 patients, 271 new cases and 3 deaths.

According to the clinical bulletin, the recovered patients are residents of Luanda province.

Among the new cases, according to the note, 240 were diagnosed in Luanda, 13 in Huila, 11 in Cunene, 3 in Huambo, 2 in Uige, 1 in Malanje and 2 in Namibe.

Of the new patients, whose ages range from 1 to 80 years old, 149 are men and 122 women.

Two deaths were reported in Luanda and one in Namibe.

In the last 24 hours, laboratories processed 2,625 samples.

The general picture points to 29,146 positive cases, with 639 deaths, 25,145 recovered and 3,362 active. Of the active cases, 20 are critical, 36 serious, 147 moderate, 74 light and 3,085 asymptomatic.

In the treatment centres, 277 patients are hospitalised, while 47 are in institutional quarantine centres.

The authorities are monitoring 1,434 contacts of positive cases.
