Luanda- Angolan Health authorities announced, this Monday, the registration of 428 new cases, 7 deaths and 67 recoveries in the last 24 hours.
According to the secretary of State for Public Health, Franco Mufinda, 376 cases were detected in Luanda, 15 in Huíla, 8 in Cuanza Norte , 8 in Benguela, 8 in Malanje, 4 in Cuando Cubango, 3 in Cunene, 2 in Bié, 2 in Cabinda and 2 in Moxico.
Among the new cases, whose ages range from 1 month to 82 years, are 206 males and 222 females.
In the last 24 hours, the laboratories have processed 3,852 blood samples, with a daily positivity rate of 11.1 percent.
The deaths were registered in Luanda Province.
Among those recovered 36 reside in Huíla, 12 in Luanda, 10 in Benguela, 4 in Cunene, 3 in Bié, 1 in Cuando Cubango and 1 in Moxico.
At least 325 patients are hospitalized in the treatment centers, while 120 citizens are in institutional quarantine 4,111 positive case contacts are under epidemiological surveillance.
Angola has now a total of 59,371 cases, of which 1,584 deaths, 48,259 recovered and 9,528 active. Of the active 27 critical, 35 serious, 181 moderate, 82 mild and 19,213 asymptomatic.
