Luanda - The health authorities announced Monday the registration of 844 new cases, 3 deaths and 325 recovered patients in the last 24 hours.
According to the Secretary of State for Public Health, Franco Mufinda, who was speaking at the usual updating session, of the new cases, 341 were diagnosed in Luanda, 185 in Cabinda, 61 in Moxico, 46 in Huambo, 43 in Cuando Cubango, 41 in Bié, 34 in Huila, 31 in Lunda Norte, 17 in Namibe, 15 in Uíge, 12 in Malanje, 12 in Lunda Sul and 6 in Benguela.
Aged between two months and 91 years, 476 are male and 368 are female patients.
In the last 24 hours, the laboratories processed 2,565 samples, with a daily positivity rate of 32.9 percent.
Of the deaths, two were registered in Luanda and one in Malanje.
Among those recovered, Franco Mufinda said that 301 were in Luanda, 18 in Bié and six in Lunda Sul.
Angola has 83,764 confirmed cases, 65,034 recovered, 1,775 deaths and 16,955 active cases. Of the active cases, 9 are critical, 48 serious, 94 moderate, 129 light and 16,675 asymptomatic.
At treatment centres, 274 patients are hospitalised, while 169 are serving institutional quarantine.
