Luanda - The General Health Inspectorate closed on Thursday a clinic that was working illegally at China Town, in Luanda.
According to the Inspector General of Health, José Solino Joel, who provided the information, the clinic was closed due to a lack of specialized technicians and declarations for carrying out the activity.
He added that the patients who were undergoing outpatient treatment were sent to their homes, while those who were admitted to hospital were transferred to Hospital do Prenda for continued medical and medication assistance.
At the time, José Solino Joel highlighted that there is evidence that the Chinese doctor had falsified his license, so there will be an investigation with the medical association to confirm his accreditation.
He assured that inspection activities will continue in the country, to guarantee compliance with standards, when carrying out actions in the health sector. EVC/OHA/DOJ
