Luanda - The minister of State for Social Affairs, Carolina Cerqueira, this Thursday encouraged the population to adhere to the vaccination camapign without fear.
According to the government official, who spoke to ANGOP after being vaccinated against Covid-19, this is the best way to stay safer and protected.
She commended the level of organization of the process, speed and the attention paid to people.
After the administration of this first vaccine, she said, she will wait two months to get the second dosis of the vaccine and, thus, guarantee better protection.
It all took place at the Vaccination Center set up at the Paz Flor Tourist Complex.
Up to 48 technicians work in the post, with the capacity to vaccinate 6,000 people per day.
In a first phase, the country received six hundred and twenty four thousand doses of vaccines, in a universe of two million and one hundred and seventy-two doses, which are expected to be distributed to the 18 provinces, by the end of May of the current year.
According to the calendar released by the national health authorities, after the country's capital, vaccines will be delivered to the provinces of Benguela and Cabinda.
