Luanda – The Ministry of Health (MINSA) announced last Thursday that the sector plans to integrate additional 9,290 professionals by December, as part of public tender for 2019.
The announcement was made by the incumbent minister, Sílvia Lutucuta, when speaking to Angola Public Television (TPA), stating that the integration of the professionals has already been authorised.
The recruitment process covers 203 new physicians, 4,829 nurses, 3,894 diagnosis and therapeutic technicians, 18 hospital support technicians and 346 general regime technicians.
“It is another gain for the sector provided by the Head of State, João Lourenço, who is increasingly concerned about the people’s living conditions, with stress to job for young people”, stressed the minister.
Sílvia Lutucuta said that the inclusion of the new professionals, which come to meet the sector’s needs countrywide, puts an end to 2019 public tender, with a total of 16,290 professionals admitted.
The sector recruited 7,000 candidates in the first stage.
