Luena – In two months, the Province of Moxico vaccinated against Covid-19, 37,000 teenagers, aged between 12 and 17, informed the head of the provincial department of Public Health, Henrique Caiombo.
For the success of the campaign, seven mobile brigades were created to accelerate the fixed process of teenagers, especially from the post installed in the 27 de Março sport Pavilion.
With a vaccination of 37,000 adolescents, the province has already passed the average (250,000) of what it foresees to be vaccinated, whose goal is to reach 458,468 people.
Although, he did not reveal the amount of vaccine available, Henrique Caiombo said there is enough stock to meet demand.
Since the first case of the Covid-19 pandemic, the province of Moxico has registered 1,800 cases, of which 435 active cases, 1,314 recoveries and 59 deaths.
