Luanda - The director-general of the Journalists Training Center (CEFOJOR), Ikuma Bamba, said Monday in Luanda that the agreement signed with Portugal's News Agency (LUSA) will boost the new dynamics in national journalism, taking into account future challenges.
As part of the two-day visit of the Prime Minister of Portugal, António Costa, to Angola, the two countries signed a media-related agreement between CEFOJOR and LUSA Agency with the aim of training journalists.
The protocol was signed by the CEFOJOR director-general, Ikuma Bamba, and Portugal's News Agency representative in Angola, Raquel Rio.
"The challenges are enormous, from the point of view of training. Not only in the field of written press, but also for multimedia", highlighted Ikuma Bamba.
He said that LUSA has experience to share with Angolan professionals, which will allow national journalists to provide a better public service.
Regarding the training of staff, Ikuma Bamba revealed that the priority is to train the professionals in Angola, without leaving aside the training at LUSA's headquarters in Lisbon, Angola.
