Bengo: Mass media minister expected in Bengo province

Caxito - The Minister of Telecommunication, Information Technology and Media, Manuel Homem, is expected Friday in Caxito (Bengo), as part of a working day of some hours in the province.

In Bengo, the Cabinet minister will meet provincial governor, Mara Quiosa, and will visit public media organisations, namely ANGOP, Edições Novembro, RNA and TPA to get acquainted with their operation.

According to a programme of the visit made available to ANGOP, the minister will also visit the facilities of Angola Telecom, the Angolan Post Office, the National Institute for Promotion of the Information Society (Infosi) and the National Institute of Meteorology and Geophysics (INAMET), in Paranhos.

On his first business trip outside Luanda, during the Covid-19 period that is ravaging the country, the minister will be accompanied by the Chairmperson of the Boards of Directors of Angolan News Agency (Angop), of Jornal de Angola, Rádio Nacional de Angola (RNA), Televisão Pública de Angola (TPA) and Angola Telecom.

The delegation also includes directors of Inamet and Infosi.
