Dundo - World Bank has spent USD 12 on construction of 150 kilometers of drinking water distribution network in eastern Lunda Norte province.

The 24-month project started on Monday in Chitato municipality, and will allow the connection of 15,000 homes in neighborhoods.

Benefiting from the projects neighbourhoods of  Samacaca, Satxindongo, Kamaquenzo, Estufa, Taxa Barragem, Bairro Norte, Caxinde and city urban center.

The Lunda Norte governor, Ernesto Muangala, appealed to the Contractor for strict compliance with the deadlines, taking into account the scarcity of water in the neighborhoods.

The Public Water and Sanitation Company in Lunda Norte has 15,000 clients, 3,856 of whom in the Mussungue satellite city.
