Cabinda - More than 300 young people trained at the National Institute for Employment and Vocational Training (INEFOP) in Cabinda Province got their first jobs in various private sector companies on Friday, as part of the national project dubbed “Five Thousand Vacancies for Paid Internships for Youth”.
The guarantee was given by the chairman of the National Association of Young Entrepreneurs (ANJE), Alexandre Cumbi Júnior, during the official ceremony to launch the project in Cabinda, chaired by the deputy governor for political and social sector, Miguel de Oliveira.
The youth leader announced that over the next three months another 100 young people will be trained in technical and professional skills, through a partnership with more than 50 private sector companies.
At the time, Cabinda's deputy governor for political and social sector, Miguel de Oliveira, highlighted the association's initiative to provide more jobs for young people.
“We are sure that this is a project that contributes to professional internships and has provided work opportunities for young people”, he said.
