Ondjiva – At least 21,062 young people of both genders started attending the National System Training Cycle 2021, opened last Friday in southern Cunene province.
The opening ceremony was chaired by the minister of Public Administration, Work and Social Security, Teresa Rodrigues Dias.
The national training cycle held in 2020 were attended by 25,000 young people in various specialties in the country’s 18 provinces.
Three-hundred short and long term courses are being integrated in 1,099 professional training centers of the Ministry of Public Administration, Work and Social Security and private institutions.
In the current training cycle of Cunene province, 495 young people will attend training in various specialties.
They include masonry, carpentry, low voltage electricity, cold equipments repair, metalwork, computer science, mechanics, entrepreneurship, accounting, management and others.
