Luanda – At least 103.9 million US dollars have been invested by the Angolan State in project aimed to reinforce water treatment plants of Luanda Sudeste, Luanda Sul and Kikuxi, the head of the project, Feliciano Catiolo, said on Friday.
Catiolo made the statement on the sidelines of the newly unveiled pipelines with 1,400 millimeters of diameters to reinforce water supply to the water supply plants.
The project of modern technology is expected to meet the demand of roughly four million inhabitants.
The Secretary of State for Water, Lucrécio Costa, who witnessed the act, said he believes that the project will allow the population to benefit from safer water in terms of quality and quantity.
