Talatona - More than 200 officials from state bodies and members of civil society are being trained in cyberspace, cyber-defense and cyber security since Monday in Luanda, with the aim to ensure the integrity of Angola’s information systems in the event of an invasion.
Running until February 23, it aims to train specialized professionals in cyber security providing skills for a better understanding of the threats and risks to national security and analyze the public policies defined in the field of cyber security.
The director-general of the National Defense Institute, Vice-Admiral Antônio José Oliveira Miranda, said the country still has a large shortage of staff in the cyber area, a situation that has led the government to make efforts to fill the gap.
The training sessions will focus on the areas of Risks and Threats in Cyberspace in the context of Artificial Intelligence and Quantum Technologies, the importance of Critical Infrastructures for Cyber Defense, Social Engineering, Cybercrime, among others.GIZ/MAG/TED/AMP
