Uige - The governor of the province of Uige, José Carvalho da Rocha, on Saturday gave 45 days for the conclusion and delivery of the seven-classrooms school, under construction in the Bem Vindo neighbourhood.
With physical execution estimated at 70 percent, the construction work on this educational establishment started in June 2020, and its conclusion was initially scheduled for November of the same year.
As part of the Integrated Plan for Intervention in Municipalities (PIIM), the school, budgeted at AKz 150 million, will have a capacity to accommodate 630 students in two shifts.
The governor took this measure on the sidelines of a visit to the MPLA Action Committee in the Bem Vindo neighbourhood during which he noted the delay in the execution of the teaching infrastructure.
