Ondjiva - Gerdina Didalelwa, governor of Cunene province, Wednesday heard about the concerns of the civil servants in the region, where the lack of promotion and updating of categories stands out.

During the meeting, the first of its kind, the workers also complained about the working conditions, as well as requested the creation of decent infrastructures in the municipalities.

Regarding other concerns, the governor instructed provincial offices to study the problems and define strategies to find solutions, adding that provincial offices should be guided by an efficient organization, and should present the staff's difficulties to the government in due course.

As concern to the health sector, the nurses and doctors at Ondjiva General Hospital asked for a means of transportation saying they were unhappy with difficult access to the unit during the rainy season.
