Humpata - About 300 youths and ex-military personnel of Humpata municipality, in Huila, benefited, today, of work kits delivered by the municipal administration, under the scope of the program to fight poverty.
The kits, which cost ten million kwanzas, are intended for the implementation of businesses in the areas of commerce, carpentry, locksmiths and agriculture, as a way of promoting self-employment.
In her turn, the municipal administrator of Humpata, Rita Miranda, said that the action is part of the most varied programmes carried out by the Government to overcome several problems that these classes face.
At the occasion, the youth representative, Pedro Cahamba, said that this social fringe now has an opportunity to undertake and show what they know how to do, to earn their livelihood.
