Luanda - Angolan businessman Segunda Amões passed away at dawn on Friday in Johannesburg (in South Africa), victim of illness.
A family source told ANGOP that the businessman had been evacuated by air ambulance, from Huambo to South Africa, after complaining of malaise.
“The ill-fated businessman complained of ailment in his Camela residence, where he resided in recent times”, said the source without specifying the type of ailment.
The 51-year-old businessman was born in Camela village, Chiumbo commune, Cachiungo municipality, central Huambo province.
Segunda Amões was a petroleum geology graduate by the former Soviet Union (USSR).
He has a bachelor's degree in law, specialised in management and economy and was CEO of Grupo ASAS.
Amões is survived by a widow and eight children.
