Uíge - One hundred kilograms of cannabis were seized this weekend, in the municipality of Quitexe, Uíge province, by members of the local National Police.
The product was being transported on a bus to Luanda, the country's capital, where it would be sold, the spokesperson for the Provincial Command of the National Police in Uíge, chief superintendent Freitas Zama explained.
The officer said that the seizure of the product resulted from a complaint, and the police forces then took several actions to seize the product.
He said that the team is on ground to identify and arrest the weed’s owner. JAR/CF/DOJ
