  • Ana Dias Lourenço , Primeira Dama da República
Luanda - The first lady, Ana Dias Lourenço, considered this Friday the "Dikota E_6.0" project as a platform of hope, dignity, values, citizenship and intergenerational encounter.

According to Ana Dias Lourenço, who was speaking at the launch of the "Dikota E_6.0" platform, Angola cannot miss the best lessons of the past, claiming that it is time for the older generations to hold hands with the younger generation, so that together they can build a more just and inclusive society for all Angolans.

The Angolan First Lady said that the "Dikota E_8.0" is a space that aims to value the transfer of intergenerational knowledge and the transmission, in the midst of communities, of values and knowledge between the elders and the young people.

Ana Dias Lourenço said that it is a comprehensive project that unites the past, the present and the future.

"We must ask our elderly  to try to lead the youngest, to help them overcome the obstacles of youth and to avoid the mistakes that they, with the experience of know-how, can easily identify," she stressed.

Ana Dias Lourenço said that the cornerstone of the platform is based on the valorisation of being, of knowledge and experiences accumulated by senior individuals and the acquisition of new learning and knowledge by young people.
