Luanda – More than 300 young Angolans living in the diaspora have been taking part since Monday, in Luanda Province, in the first national meeting with the communities, which is being held under the slogan "Angola, the real country in the political, economic and social context".

The event, which is an initiative of the National Movement Angola Real Association (MONAAR) and the Office of Studies and Strategic Analyses (GEAE) of the Auxiliary Organs of the President of the Republic, serves to share knowledge, with a view to developing activities aimed at contributing to the well-being of citizens.

According to the director of the GEAE, Norberto Garcia, the aim is to help identify problems, present solutions and create a framework for operational coordination so that the country can progress.

He said that the government's efforts demonstrate the will and willingness to also fulfil the dreams of Angolans living in the diaspora, with a series of economic and financial instruments at their disposal.

At the time, the vice-president of MONAAR, Mateus Sebastião, explained that the organisation is developing a wide-ranging project, the purpose of which is to show all that is available for building a new and prosperous Angola.

The official added that the scientific research programme produced by MONAAR has made it possible to see that the policy adopted by the government in the economic sector has achieved significant progress, with the empowerment of the national business community, favouring domestic production of consumer goods.

Regarding agriculture, the official said that the observation is that there have been significant advances that boost the industrial sector, transform the country and boost development of other sectors of the economy by creating new jobs for young people.

The representative of the provincial governor of Luanda at the event, Tatiana Morais, emphasised that Angola in the political, economic and social context, invites young people to reflect on the contribution that each Angolan, both individually and collectively, can and should make to the harmonious development of the country.
