Luanda - The Ministry of Higher Education, Science, Technology and Innovation Tuesday in Luanda encouraged the scientific and academic community to deepen their knowledge of Covid-19, helping the Government in the search for its solutions prevention and combat.
With Angola currently registering 12,680 positive cases, with 308 deaths, 5,927 recovered and 6,445 active, the ministerial department said that the efforts of the scientific and academic community were directed towards in-depth knowledge of the disease and the behaviour of its vector, which forced restrictions with a visible impact on the economy.
According to the ministry, the Angolan Government supported the creation of two multidisciplinary scientific projects, involving national institutions for the production of knowledge and the search for specific solutions in the context of the pandemic in the country.
