Luanda - The multimedia portal, exclusively for the sale of special news products of Angola Press Agency (ANGOP), starting this month, can be accessed through the address media.angop.ao.
The new closed system service aims to ensure the collection of income, through the sale of exclusive contents.
Internet users can also access it through the link available in a banner on the aforementioned website.
With this initiative, ANGOP commits itself to selling news in texts, audios, videos, infographics, photographs, newsletter and other journalistic contents.
In addition to the closed contents, aimed at sale, the news agency intends to continue to freely disseminate institutional or public contents.
ANGOP was created in July 1975, under the name of Angola Press National Agency (ANAP). In the beginning, its works were distributed in the printed bulletin form, until on 30 October of the same year (date adopted for the celebrations of the company's anniversary), it launched its first telegraphic dispatch.
On 2 December 1975, the agency adopted its present and definitive denomination - Angola Press Agency, following the launching of its first dispatch, with the acronym ANGOP.
On 2 February 1978 it was transformed into a state organ through a presidential decree. From the informative point of view, in 1991 ANGOP opted to broadcast its work 24 hours a day.
